— Is your shop open?
Yes! Preorders have been extended to Monday, March 8th. Get your copy of Sprout Zine by going to the "shop" link above.
— Is this zine for charity or for profit?
This is a charity zine! All proceeds to to The Resource Center in North Texas. Site: rcdallas.org
— What zine experience do the mods have?
All of our mods have experience as consumers or contributors to zines, and both our finance and our production mods (Blu and Kip) have run zines before. Connie and Mag have both organized art books and anthologies.
— When are contributor applications open?
Artist and writer applications have closed; they ran September 10th to October 10th.
— Who can apply for the zine?
Anyone who identifies as LGBT! Follower count or age will not be a factor. (Contributors must be at least 13 to apply).
Zine OVERview
Sprout is a charity LGBT Haikyuu!! fanzine that invites LGBT fan artists and writers to create self indulgent pieces on a larger scale. This zine aims to provide both its contributors and consumers with a feel-good theme of self-acceptance.
General Guidelines
1 ) Contributors must be LGBT.
2 ) This zine is broadly SFW. Seeing as LGBT issues intersect with our bodies, as long as a young teenager can view it, it is fine. For example, exploring trans bodies in explicitly trans ways that aren’t explicitly sexual. Submissions may not be explicit as there are minors participating.
3 ) This zine is not centered around ships/pairings, but pieces including them are allowed.
